Preparing Your Artwork Files

One-Color Imprinting

We accept "Vector" files in EPS format, AI format, or PDF format; however, Adobe Illustrator is always best. Please use the "Outline Fonts" command.

Four-Color Graphics

Please refer to our Create A PDF document for full instructions.

EPS - EPS files can be generated from any number of applications. Please remember to choose the "Include Images" option. Also, be sure to include your fonts as the EPS format does not retain this information. If you are sending a scan or other non-vector file, be sure to save it at 300 dpi.

TIFF - TIFF files should be flattened (no Photoshop layers) and submitted at 300 dpi for color or grayscale images, and 1200 dpi for line art.

PDF - PDF files should be created using the "For Press" setting, with "Include All Fonts" activated. Make sure no color management is embedded. "Default Printer Screens" should be used. Be sure all images in your document are in CMYK format.

The customer is responsible for archiving all artwork. Mailers Company does not archive any customer furnished artwork.

Our templates are created in Adobe Illustrator CS and saved in EPS format. These templates will work on either PC or Mac platforms. To download a file, simply click on it and save when prompted.
